Reform
Question
Hello, I once read (I think on the site) an article by the Rabbi in which he described that a process of change in Jewish law needs to go through three stages: (a) motivation for the change; (b) the possibility of making the change; (c) checking that the change would indeed be beneficial. Does the Rabbi remember where this is and can he point me to it? I searched several times through related articles on the site and couldn’t find it. Thanks.
Answer
At the moment I don’t remember. But everything is explained very clearly in the third book of my trilogy.
And this is not about checking after the fact whether it helped, but rather an assessment in advance of whether it will help.
