Q&A: Reincarnation
Reincarnation
Question
Hello Rabbi, I have 2 questions.
1. If the Rabbi were to believe very, very strongly that reincarnations exist, would that affect him in practice?
2. Would the Rabbi be willing to suggest an experiment, even a very stringent one, such that if it happened it would, in the Rabbi’s view, be good evidence for reincarnation? For example, if a team of one hundred well-known and respected people were to film a baby from birth until age 5, and everything there seemed completely standard, and then he would begin describing a method for making wine that existed in a village in Bulgaria 600 years ago, along with all kinds of details about the village; and then they would go check and discover that he was very close to the truth.
Answer
