I don’t like collective expressions like “for us.” Whether or not it has significance for you is something only you can decide.
If you’re asking from my perspective, then I think definitely yes. I’m not terribly excited, because to begin with I never had much confidence in these fields of research or in the difficulties they raise, and I also think that even if the difficulties were valid, the implications would not be all that dramatic (this was explained in the second book of the trilogy), so I’m not very troubled by them. But a find like this certainly strengthens things—or really, weakens the difficulties.
