Is a Traveler Exempt from the Sukkah?
Question
Hello Rabbi,
Is someone who goes on a trip, or even flies abroad, exempt from eating and sleeping in a sukkah?
Best regards,
Answer
Simply put, on any trip you are exempt if you have no way to sleep in a sukkah. It is preferable to plan the trip for a different time, but strictly speaking, in my opinion, you are exempt.
