Impurity as a Matter of Nature
Question
Hello Rabbi,
I wrote a Torah thought for Hanukkah, but I’m not sure my idea is correct because I don’t have enough Talmudic / halakhic knowledge. Are objects / vessels considered pure until some action is performed on them, or are there objects / vessels that are created impure?
Answer
A vessel made from raw materials is pure. Perhaps there could be some pathological case where you make a vessel out of other vessels, and even then maybe it would fall under the category of “a new entity.”
