Hello Rabbi,
It was announced by the protest organizers that this coming Thursday there will be a "National Equality Day" — "because there is no democracy without equality. As part of the day, the protest movement will fight for equality in service to the state, in economic contribution, and for all those who are being economically harmed by the government's moves."
"The days in which one side serves the state and also funds the yeshivas — while the other side is trying to establish a dictatorship of Jewish law here — are over. On National Equality Day we will go out to dozens of protest actions around the country, from the Goma Junction to Eilat. On this day we will officially notify the Haredi leadership: it's over."
Does the Rabbi support participating in this protest even though they have stopped the legislation (temporarily)?

I am completely in favor of these ideas. But they are getting mixed together with protests against the reform, and that's a shame. If there were a protest that left the reform aside, at least until the talks at the President's Residence are over, and focused on these issues, I would definitely support participating in it.
