Q&A: Immersing Disposable Glass Vessels for Reuse
Immersing Disposable Glass Vessels for Reuse
Question
Hello and blessings,
A glass beverage bottle, such as a grape juice bottle, Prigat (small Jump bottle and the like), which one wants to keep using after finishing the original drink in it (for water, say) — does it require immersion? And does the Rabbi know anything about markings stamped on the bottle (such as R or something like a triangular P, which might perhaps indicate that it was manufactured in Israel, etc.)? Thank you.
Answer
I’m not familiar with the issue of the markings.

My sense is that there is real substance to what he says. a0
