Question

Hello Rabbi Michi.
A thought occurred to me that the statement "everything is from God" actually fits very well with the modern scientific view, which claims that a person really has no free choice and that everything is basically deterministic. In other words, in religious language, when a person chooses something or fails at something, he is told: everything is from God. And in secular language, you have genetic makeup that controls you, maybe also some educational influences and the place where you were born, and therefore you are what you are. What does the Rabbi think about this?
