Assuming we accept the existence of God in the deistic sense, what exactly leads us from there to a theistic conception, whether Jewish or Christian, etc.?

The book does not deal with that, but rather with belief in God itself. The move to a religious God appears in the fifth conversation in my book The First Existent. A detailed answer cannot be given here within the framework of responsa.
