Q&A: Is This Appropriate?
Is This Appropriate?
Question
I saw that there is a huge uproar and outrage throughout the democratic world against the prosecutor in The Hague who is asking the court to issue arrest warrants for a lowly, corrupt, despicable man who, to our shame, is currently serving as prime minister, and also against the defense minister, together with the vile murderers from Hamas, at a time when Israel was attacked and is justifiably fighting for its life against these murderers (even if not everything we do is perfectly clean under international law). There is really very harsh criticism.
My question: would it be appropriate for the Mossad to poison the prosecutor’s sons and daughters to death, perhaps also his wife if he has a good relationship with her, and perhaps even him himself of course, using the known methods and leaving no trace?
The question is on the moral plane, certainly regarding his wife and sons and daughters,
and also on the practical level: in your assessment, would this achieve the benefit of showing that people do not mess with us, and signal to those who seek our harm that we will view extreme and unfair legal and diplomatic persecution just like a physical enemy in battle, whose fate is destruction?
??
Answer
A completely hypothetical question. It would not help in any way. It would only cause harm.
