Question
One of the greatest prophets of Israel, Professor Yuval Noah Harari, claims that because of advanced technological changes, and especially with the arrival of AI technology, in another 100 or 200 years there will probably no longer be a human species. Broadly speaking, he argues that the power and force this can wield could open the door to world wars, and in addition maybe even develop independent desires of its own (the AGI project). Is there any truth to what he says? Do you take his prophecies seriously? After all, he is Jewish, so maybe there is something to his prophecies.

There's always some chance. It doesn't have to be an initiative by a gang of robots. Just some software that goes off the rails. It has nothing to do with consciousness or independent desires.
I'm afraid human beings are more likely to destroy humanity than AI is 🙂 And may the Holy One, blessed be He, save us from their hands…
