Hello Rabbi,
Whom would you choose, Trump or Biden (assuming he hadn’t dropped out), and why? I’m asking especially about the balance between Trump’s problematic personality on the one hand and Biden’s support for abortion compared to Trump.
Answer
I don’t know. I’m not knowledgeable enough, and I don’t see things from the perspective of an American citizen. Simply put, it’s clear that Biden is preferable.

Correct. Abortion isn’t even Biden’s main drawback. And the ordinary murders in the U.S. also outnumber those in the rest of the world.

Same here. I don’t have enough information, but offhand both sides have disgusting factions.
And as an Israeli, whom would you want to be elected?
I don’t have the information, so I don’t have a position either. In general, throughout the world the left is more anti-Israel, and that’s true in the U.S. as well. But even as an Israeli, I’m not enthusiastic about putting an unstable person at the wheel.
So the issue of abortion isn’t enough to tip the scales compared to Trump’s other problems?
