My wife and I are wondering whether we may sign an apartment purchase contract during the Nine Days. The issue is that we need to sign the contract now in order to get the mortgage as quickly as possible, since my wife is supposed to give birth very, very soon. Receiving the mortgage is important for us in order to close out debts. Is it possible to permit signing the above contracts during this period?

I have debts, and in order to release the fund I gave my signature on WhatsApp. After that I asked them to move the actions to after Tisha B’Av. Did I do the right thing, or can I continue asking them to handle the case?
