How Do I Choose a Religion?
Question
I’ve come to the conclusion that I believe in God.
The next obvious question is: “What does He command?”
How do you know which religion is the true one, if any?
How do you choose a religion?
Answer
This is not really a matter for philosophy. You need to act in accordance with your own impression and judgment. I’ll just say that among the monotheistic religions, Judaism is the earliest, and they all accept it, except that they claim there were later changes. The burden of proof is on them. I wrote about this briefly in the first axiom, in the fifth conversation.
