What I mean is: is the truth more important than the ability of something to survive / be passed on to future generations? At the beginning of your trilogy (p. 41), you noted that survival doesn’t concern you very much; it’s more important to you that something be correct. I asked myself: if survival isn’t important, what’s the point of teaching something, even if it’s true, if it doesn’t matter whether future generations know / believe the correct thing?

I don’t know how this could be explained more sharply. You’re repeating a question that doesn’t exist. Think for a moment about the connection between what you wrote and the question of survival. You’ll immediately see there isn’t one. I won’t answer further unless you formulate a precise question and show where you see a contradiction. In my view, you haven’t done that even for yourself.
