Question
If evolution or creation are guided, then why didn’t God create us perfect?
What I mean is: why is the opening for food in the throat close to the one for air? That’s why we choke.
Why do animals and plants have problems that cause them to die at a young age? These are not genetic problems but processes.
Is this something that can be understood, or is it just “the ways of God are hidden”?

What does this have to do with evolution? Are you asking a question about evolution (how did something imperfect survive), or about God (why did He use evolution instead of directly making the result He wanted)? As for evolution, there is no question, because the process still is not over and it may yet improve. Beyond that, it is always worth comparing a deficiency to the alternative (maybe when they are farther apart there is another, even more serious drawback). As for the question about Him—why He created through evolution—I don’t know.
Why would God create something with flaws?
If He were guiding something, then He should have made it precise and not in a gradual way.
