Hi, honor to the Rabbi and everyone,
I was at an NLP course lecture where the lecturer demonstrated hypnosis, and told from his experience with various patients about regression to previous incarnations. I was fascinated.
He emphasized to the audience [all of them non-religious] that for the practical knowledge needed to treat people, there is no need to believe that hypnosis really takes a person back in his life, and certainly no need to believe in regression to previous incarnations, because the main thing is to reach the root of the problem in the patient's mind — but he said that he himself does believe and knows that the person really does return in his mind to that time, even to a previous incarnation, because he would ask for the name, time, and place of death, and then went to check in a cemetery in that place and found it exactly as the hypnotized person had said.
I would be interested to know whether the Rabbi has scientific sources or sources from the Torah of Israel that support this.

I do not know of any sources for this in the Torah of Israel. In the Talmud and the Bible there is no source for it, as far as I know. All the other sources are the product of the thought of this or that person, who may think that there are or are not reincarnations.
As for science, I am not familiar with any scientific examination of these phenomena.
Hypnosis in Israel is legally permitted for psychologists and doctors to study; for others it is forbidden. NLP is an interesting field, though it still has not been proven therapeutically! And you have to be careful about what is presented to you. As for hypnosis and regression to previous incarnations, it is a very interesting field that the psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss from the United States has researched and works in. His writings are worth reading.
