Do you think that the fact that the revelation at Mount Sinai—the foundational event of the Jewish people—is not mentioned in the books of the Prophets (and likewise in the Torah, in the itinerary of the journeys), in places and descriptions where we would expect it to be mentioned most prominently, until the book of Nehemiah, where it is mentioned for the first time, creates some difficulty? (This question is, of course, well known.)
