In the End They Die — or Perhaps Are Even Put to Death…

Maybe in the entire U.S., about 500 infants died in the last year, but around 400 were from a state that banned abortions, God forbid.
That is, many babies died because fetuses with defects and the like, which were not aborted in time, were born, suffered, and died.
The mothers also suffered and are now grieving, perhaps even falling into depression — certainly enormous anguish for their entire lives over the fruit of their womb, whom they saw, knew, and then lost…
And perhaps some of the babies did not die naturally but were even put to death in one way or another, may God protect us.
Perhaps in light of this information, the Rabbi will soften his opposition to abortions?
Was the Torah given for cruelty?

What does this have to do with the Torah? My opposition has nothing to do with the Torah in any way. It is a moral opposition to murder.
By the way, aside from the principled discussion, I also do not have much trust in such data. Usually they are tendentious.
