Attending a same-sex wedding
Peace and blessings.
Asking for a friend. He is a medical student nearing the end of his third year. He has a regular "friend" who is gay, and is now getting married.
The question regarding attending a wedding/short drone. Is it permitted/forbidden/appropriate/inappropriate?
I should point out that everyone knows they are good friends and he will certainly ask about everyone's participation before the wedding. And after it too…

I don't think there is a halakhic prohibition on that. But it seems to me that it is not appropriate to participate in a celebration whose very content is a prohibition. He can apologize and say that it is not personal but a halakhic matter. Just as I should be considerate of my friend, he should be considerate of me.
