Actions that every day, rabbis give a bottom-line answer to their questions. This is especially common with respondents who are approached by many people and who do not have the opportunity to detail the full picture to each and every one of them. It seems that Rabbi There instructed them to follow a bottom-line. Although there is no problem with his usual ruling, because when it is a clear case, there is no reason to detail. You say the answer and that is it. But in his second answer, he even allowed himself to lie, a 'holy lie.' This is forbidden in my opinion (on the one hand, it is a lie, and on the other hand, you should not add anything), and in our day it is also not wise (because the sources of information are open to everyone, and it is easy to establish contact with all kinds of rabbis and discover all the opinions and the halachic truth).
