What is the explanation of the jurists who prohibit participation in elections? After all, they do this to save lives and influence as much as possible.

I don't know of any such rulings. More precisely, I don't know of any such ruling, but rather a recommendation from some Jews. There is a reply by Rabbi Monk of Haifa, in "Pa'at Hasade," on whether it is permissible to hide in the Knesset of the Minions when they are chasing you to kill you. See there and be satisfied.
