Do you think there is a genetic/racial difference that affects IQ? Do you think "Ashkenazi Jews" are more "smart" than Mizrahi Jews or is it all down to circumstance and genetics does not affect IQ? (I'm asking your assessment and what your intuition is on the matter, since there are no clear studies on this, and if there are studies that the rabbi knows about, I would be happy to refer to them)

I have no idea. But the sensitivity to such statements is stupid in my opinion. It is certainly possible, and even likely, that there is a genetic basis for intelligence. I have the impression that there is an acquired component, but it is very likely that there is also an innate and therefore genetic component. And if there are differences in intelligence between populations, then what? This is a factual question and requires scientific examination.
