Protest against malicious and destructive intentions

Now, in the nation-state that is supposed to be run like the chosen people, there is a government that, in my understanding, is destroying and annihilating the nation.
Literally and as taught, without any exaggeration at all.
They are honored with all kinds of ceremonies, and in my opinion, this dishonors the memory of the fallen that lowly people like them talk about.
Is it appropriate to come to events and protest the honor of the fallen, whom men above me dishonor by their very presence in these positions?
 
The question is a moral one for me.
