Regarding the pronunciation of the explicit name

A wonderful question was asked by a gentleman, and I cannot escape his answer. First, I will say that he has learned from great scholars. We were on a trip with the Midrash in Mea Shearim. When we went there to pray Mincha, one of the locals asked me my name, and I told him why he asked my name, and he was surprised. And yet I answered and said, "Michi" (in the Hebrew for "Dugusha"), and then the bar-nesh wondered to himself whether my full name was Mikael. And later, when my understanding of the books of our savants, the analytical philosophers (Mohar R. R. Russell and his disciples), and I saw that a person's name is a contract (see Two Carts, Chapter Two) as opposed to a description (informative and indicative), there is no need for there to be any consistency between a full name and an affectionate name as long as it is clear to whom the things refer. And so the arguments of that scoundrel, the man in stripes, were silenced. And so my peace rose like a river, and my mouth was filled with singing like the sea, and my lips with praise like the multitude of its waves: Give thanks to the Lord, for it is good, for His lovingkindness endures forever, who gives the wise the ability to distinguish between the blue and the dark, and between a name and a description.
