Saying forgiveness
I heard that the rabbi no longer stands by what he wrote about the midday prayers. I would be happy to hear if the rumor is true. And if so, why?

Indeed, it does not seem to me that the Selichot were written by the Holy Spirit and that there are sublime secrets behind them. It still bothers me if they say that Selichot were written by people from different countries and religions, but that is a matter of personal taste. By the way, I think it was written about the laments and not about the Selichot, but that does not matter.
