Swallowing carrots from chicken soup
After my children ate chicken soup and there were leftover carrots left on the plate that had been cooked in the soup, I instinctively put a piece of carrot in my mouth; as soon as I recognized that it was leftover chicken meat – and before I could swallow it – I spat it out. Is this considered meat consumption according to Halacha?
