The book The Doctrine of Divinity by Yosef ben Shlomo
Hello Rabbi. I wanted to ask if you are familiar with the book "The Doctrine of the Godhead of the Holy Scriptures" by Dr. Yosef ben Shlomo. I am looking for a simple overview of the understanding, relatively speaking, of the Godhead according to the Holy Scriptures. And I am afraid that because Dr. Yosef ben Shlomo was not religious, his understanding of the Holy Scriptures will not be accurate.
Actually, the question is about the specific book, and also about trusting secular people in sacred matters in general.

Hello.
I don't know, but I've never understood these concerns. Examine the arguments and claims for themselves and if you find what you were looking for, congratulations. If not – then no. What difference does it make whose stomach these pearls came from (whether it's really the Ramak or it's Ben Shlomo's idea himself). If your interest is academic (meaning knowing what the Ramak thought, and not clarifying the issue itself for yourself), then I can only say that there are quite a few religious people who don't understand the texts they interpret, and therefore I don't think there is a general a priori criterion regarding the identity of the reliable interpreter.
