The punishments of the Torah

Have you addressed the question or written an article/essay regarding Torah punishments such as cutting off hair and the like? Why don't we see that most sinners are punished by this?

How do you want to see a punishment of death? Do you even know what this punishment is? At most you could ask about death at the hands of heaven, and even there it is difficult for me to see how this can be empirically tested.
