The Strangeness of the Torah
Speaking of our concern with understanding with our human minds the ways/ability/limits of the infinite Creator (such as in knowledge and choice), to match His power and greatness, I still haven't seen your reference to how His Torah He gave us matches His wisdom in the peace of His world that He created, "How many are Your works, O Lord," but His Torah? What is the connection between it and a wise and divine being? When I look at your articles, I see much more wisdom, I don't quite understand what's going on here? How is it possible that such a simple Torah (and sometimes, especially in our day, it seems…) belongs to Him, could He not have given a more perfect Torah? We also asked about His world, about its incompleteness, such as the problem of evil, but you touched on this and claimed who said it was possible to make a better world?
But what can we say about his teachings? Give us something that will satisfy the mind? thanks
