To the upright, glory be to you?

שו"תTo the upright, glory be to you?
שאל לפני 4 שנים

Let's say I have a simple question like whether it is appropriate to impeach a person accused of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust over the people who are supposed to be a light to the nations, or a more complicated question like whether to donate money to feed poor children lunch today or to donate to something in the future to save humanity, for example, to create a human being and send them to another universe so that when we are lost, at least there will be intelligent people left enjoying themselves somewhere?
Questions that are either difficult to get into all the relevant details or the issue itself is shrouded in fog and it is difficult to calculate what will come out in the end and in general whether it is going to be something serious, etc.
Is it reasonable to conclude that what most wise and honest people would conclude is probably the right thing to do?
Or should I try to reach a decision on my own despite the effort and waste of time? (Assuming that I am somewhere among the wise and honest, of course)

I wouldn't trust that, unless you think they have some added value, some ability, that you don't. Obviously, if you can come to a conclusion yourself, that's what you should do. But in my opinion, even if you can't, then you remain doubtful.
