With the Land of Theory
peace,
What is the straight path for the people of the land in matters that are disputed by scholars and the "delusional"?

I've come across quite a few videos that show a confrontation between various doctors, for example, one presenting physical findings that he believes prove that Yigal Amir did not assassinate Rabin (or at least he was not the only shooter) and against him there is another who claims that it is a crazy hallucination. In another confrontation, one slams his colleague for presenting him with *measurable* proof (I have no idea what is meant) of the sphericity of the Earth and in response receives no serious response but only laughs. NASA's landing on the moon did happen, did not happen … etc. etc. In all kinds of such confrontations, there is usually evidence/difficulties on the side of those who are categorized as hallucinating, and laughs on the other side.
So as a simple person, I really trust the theories that most researchers agree on and don't really respond to claims that sound unfounded. But the question bothers me: why don't they respond in a matter-of-fact way? Could it be that they really don't have an answer and are trying to hide their embarrassment, or are they just tired of responding to nonsense?
