Worms in corn
Is it possible to eat corn on the cob? There is a problem with worms, can it be eaten by rinsing, straining, and so on? Or is there no solution? And in general, what is the Rabbi's opinion on the matter of worms – the shouting? Do today's strictures seem reasonable to the Rabbi?

Hello.
It is customary to examine the cob, and in fact to crumble it and eat only the kernels. I do not know how reasonable these concerns are (what is the chance of finding worms in the corn). It seems to me that it is worth doing so. Although some of the poskim have made it easier due to considerations of not intending and not enjoying the forbidden eating, as well as various spicinesses. I think that sometimes they are too strict. Something that can be reasonably checked is worth checking.
