Cancellation of Netanyahu's trial
Hello Rabbi,
The rabbi wrote in his column that he does not see how the reform will help Bibi overturn his sentence.
But there are some not-so-far-fetched possibilities for this:
An appointment will be made on behalf of someone who will withdraw the cases, or who has been given a plea bargain without disgrace. Why does the rabbi think this is unrealistic?
thanks

Because in my opinion, it's not realistic. A plea bargain is supposed to be acceptable to the judges. It's hard to see how the Attorney General would interfere in the middle of the proceedings. All along, it's clear that the one leading the reform is Levin, not Bibi, who was pressured by him. And besides, replacing the Attorney General has nothing to do with the reform.
