Lighting Hanukkah candles
Rabbi, I will not be at my parents' house but will be staying somewhere else, and in addition, my parents will not be home to light the Chanukah candles. Do I have to give the owner of the house where I will be staying a penny so that I can participate in the lighting and thus be exempt from the obligation? It should be noted that I am Sephardic.
