The Genesis Story Versus the Miracle Stories
According to you, the world was not created in seven days, in complete contradiction to the Torah's plain language. Furthermore, there is no serious way to compare the Torah's plain language with the theory of evolution (which actually has countless pieces of evidence), so the Torah's plain language is irrelevant for drawing conclusions about reality.
Why do you believe that the miracles mentioned in the Bible can be accepted at face value if even a simple observation of reality does not see miracles in our day, and there is also no serious evidence in our day that miracles existed in the past (those mentioned in the Bible, such as the Ten Plagues)?
What is the difference in your opinion between the Genesis story and the miracles in the Bible?
