The person who canceled the leaven
Hello Rabbi,
A person who is evacuated from his home and is unable to return to it in the meantime. According to the law that canceling the leaven is a sin, can he cancel the leaven even if he does not have it? Or is the leaven not canceled and is it forced?

The chametz is in his complete possession. There is no other authority over it. It was not stolen or borrowed. Therefore, it can be canceled and that is it. Of course, even if it is not canceled, you are forced.
