The singular point – is it in our experience?

שו"תThe singular point – is it in our experience?
שאל לפני 9 שנים

Hello Rabbi,
Why can't we say that the singular point is "not in our experience" and then it is the one that doesn't need a reason,
I saw in the notebook that you discussed why the universe itself cannot be the cause of something – and the arguments are indeed visible, but it can always be said that all things in the universe are a cause of the singular point, which itself is not in our experience and therefore does not need a cause.

thanks!

The singular point is not another object but the entire matter of the universe in a highly concentrated state. Therefore, I do not see how it can be seen as a cause of itself. Beyond that, the singular point is not the cause of the laws of nature but at most of material reality itself. Therefore, in any case, it does not provide an answer to the difficulty regarding the origin of the laws.
