Forgive me, I just now read the Rabbi's column on the confession of the Law. Is it possible to explain, based on the understanding of "Bido," the law "that one should not commit a sin" by claiming an open door as Rashi understands it in the issue of Ketubot, page 9 (if I am not mistaken, the Rabbi himself addresses this point at the end of his remarks there, albeit briefly)?
