I heard a certain idea attributed to a French philosopher, but I don’t remember his name. Does the Rabbi or one of the readers recognize it?
According to him, there is causality in the world, but there are infinitely many factors behind every phenomenon, and therefore predicting it is never possible for a human being. But God has the ability to contain the infinite and know the future. Man’s inability to predict a phenomenon creates a kind of free choice.
