If I understood correctly, then you are claiming that it is more reasonable to think that there is an initiator, planner, and manager of the world.
1. Is Rogel Alpher arguing against you that this is not true, or that unless it is certain, then it is not evidence / not a good reason for observing the commandments?
2. When you speak about probability, do you mean 99 percent or 51 percent? Because if it is closer to 51, then there is something to the claim that there is nothing sufficiently convincing here to take on such a demanding way of life.

2. It is hard to quantify. In my view, it is enough probability to obligate oneself.

There is no point in these hair-splittings. Whatever is being raised for discussion is in the discussion. That’s all.
I’ll try to sharpen question 1. Alpher’s opinion is not all that interesting to me. I’m asking you which positions, that you disagree with, seem to you worthy of entering the discussion arena (of course, in your view they will always be less reasonable than the claim you hold). 1. The claim that there is no initiator / manager of the world. 2. It may be that there is, but since this is not certain, it is not evidence / not a good reason for observing the commandments.
