Q&A: What Do You Think About the Terms for Ending the War
What Do You Think About the Terms for Ending the War
Question
Hello Rabbi,
What do you think about the terms for ending the war:
The hostages will be returned within 72 hours of signing the agreement.
250 murderers will be released.
Any Hamas member who surrenders his weapon will receive amnesty and be allowed to leave.
Gaza will be run under a temporary administration by a technocratic committee of Palestinians and internationals under the supervision of a peace council headed by Trump and Tony Blair.
There will be no forced departure. Residents will be encouraged to stay in order to build “a better Gaza.” But residents will be able to leave freely and return freely.
The Palestinian Authority will be able to receive Gaza only after it completes the nearly impossible reforms of the 2020 Trump plan.
Hamas will have no involvement whatsoever in governing, and it will undergo full demilitarization—under an international commitment.
The United States and additional countries will ensure the immediate deployment of an international stabilizing force in Gaza.
There will be no annexation or occupation in Gaza by Israel.
