Choosing a Yeshiva
Question
Hello Rabbi, in your opinion, for someone who wants to invest in Torah study for the long term and become a serious scholar, is it preferable to study in a higher yeshiva or in a hesder yeshiva? P.S. Is the Rabbi considering opening a yeshiva sometime? I assume there would be demand if you established a yeshiva that focuses on in-depth Talmud study and has an option for a track of many years of learning like a higher yeshiva.
Thank you very much
Answer
It is hard to generalize. On average, my impression is that in higher yeshivot the learning is more serious. But if you study seriously, it does not matter all that much where you learn.
No.
Discussion on Answer
That was the “no” at the end.
But is the Rabbi planning to open some kind of Torah institution in the near future?
