Question

It is written in Leviticus 16:8, “And Aaron shall place lots upon the two goats: one lot for the Lord and one lot for Azazel.” I understood that the way he did this was that he had one plate (of gold) with “For the Lord” written on it, and a second plate with “For Azazel” written on it. Do you think that when the Temple is rebuilt, what is written on the plates should be written in modern Hebrew letters, which actually originated in Aramaic, or in the ancient Hebrew script? After all, in the First Temple period they certainly used the ancient Hebrew script. So it would seem that this is the more halakhically correct way, no?
