Q&A: Searching for a Paragraph in Your Book
Searching for a Paragraph in Your Book
Question
Hello,
I seem to remember that in Two Carts you brought an analogy from the Chabad rabbi Yoel Kahn about the strength of certainty in sight (as opposed to hearing). I can’t find the source in the book right now, and if you happen to remember, I’d appreciate it if you could tell me where it appears.
Best regards,
Answer
It appears in the book Truth and Unstable Truth, chapter 16. I don’t remember it being in Two Carts.
Discussion on Answer
I think it’s in the fifth notebook.
The fifth notebook still doesn’t really count as a book. And this is a good time to pray (is that a miracle? is it allowed?) that it should be published speedily in our days!
Not relevant anymore, but I’ll note that I’ve now found it in That Which Is Present, p. 236.
Thank you very much.
