Becoming Religious Again
Question
In recent months, all kinds of questions have been coming up for me about life, about the “self,” and other philosophical questions and discussions. I’ve read some of the Rabbi’s books and several other books, but I still feel unsatisfied. I don’t feel that I yet have enough of a philosophical foundation to keep discussing and working on new topics. Can the Rabbi suggest a few books or sources that provide a solid philosophical foundation for most of these discussions?
Answer
I don’t know what to suggest. There’s no algorithm for learning philosophy, and there’s also no formula for which books will speak to you. You have to roll along with it and see where your “feet” take you.
