Question

Many have come out of cheder and still don’t know the multiplication table. 
At the end of every question, the Rabbi requires answering an addition problem.
Seemingly simple, but not for everyone. I often make mistakes and get confused. And that way I lose out.
My soul is in my question and my people in my request; presumably I’m not the only one who suffers from this.
Perhaps the Rabbi would be willing to replace the identification exercise with simple questions that are accessible even to people like me.
For example: how much is 1+1 or 2+2 and the like, and not problems that are hard for some people?
 
This question/request is sincere, and I think I’m not the only one who has this problem. I studied in cheder…
And Heaven forbid there is no craziness in it, just a simple request for consideration.
