Are all the claims about the climate crisis really true? Every so often you see some apocalyptic prediction about how the world is about to collapse because of the climate crisis. I feel that the claims about the climate crisis aren’t all that scientific, and that there’s a lot of propaganda around the issue. Is the situation really that bad?

I’m really not an expert. My impression is that there are a great many agendas here, on both sides. But in any case, it seems likely that there is a problem (temperature indicators have been rising over the years. The weather really does seem to be going haywire. The question of whether this is the result of human pollution is debated. In most views, there is a significant effect). It’s true that in this field there are quite a few predictions about the future, and as such they should be taken with a grain of salt. But scientific assessments are the best we have.
