Philosophy of Statistics
Question
Hello,
I’m looking for in-depth reading material that’s still accessible to laypeople, on randomness and probability, and on our basic assumptions as human beings in this context.
I’d appreciate references; thanks in advance.
Answer
I’m not familiar with anything specific. You can search online. There are books and articles by Daniel Kahneman on cognitive biases.
I very, very highly recommend the books of Eliezer Yudkowsky. Personally, I read Rationality: From AI to Zombies and enjoyed it מאוד…. In general, all of his stuff is about this.
