Question

With God’s help, as I prepare to travel to the Land of Israel (to study there in a yeshiva), my father, may he live long, told me that it’s worthwhile to speak English in Israel (especially at the airport), because then they respect you more. Does the Rabbi think that’s really the case too? And why would that be? Are they embarrassed to be Israeli, God forbid?
